KY DeafBlind Project Group Fitness Session

KY DeafBlind Project

Today we partnered with The KY Deaf-Blind Project for a fun workout. Shout out to Barren Heights for opening their doors for us.

Athletes perform an overhead band walk.

Despite the warm July temps outside, we still took the time to integrate a little warm-up and get our bodies moving. From there, we mixed in a variety of functional movements that translate over to activities of daily living. Everyone worked up a great sweat and had fun in the process. Before wrapping up the morning, we did some bowling followed by stretching.

Fitness and movement should be accessible to everyone. We had an absolute blast challenging participants with functional but fun movements.
