Peaking in on any of our group training sessions might appear randomly and chaotic at first glance. There have been several occasions where classes are chaotic. However, it is never random. In our fundamentals classes, every athlete rotates through stations. Each station serves a purpose.
We believe that movements and exercises should translate over to activities of daily living. They should have a functional purpose to help improve the athlete’s life. Our coaches plan all training sessions with this in mind.

Last night, we incorporated balance boards into one of our stations. Athletes were tasked with balancing on the board while tossing rings to cones in front of them. Regardless of where an athlete is on their fitness journey, we can modify these movements based on where they are.
For one athlete, we had to assist them onto the board, but after that, they needed no assistance. Another athlete could not balance and toss the rings, so we focused solely on balancing. Some athletes found balancing and tossing the rings so easy, that we moved the cones further away to present more of a challenge. The possibilities are endless.
This happens across all stations, all classes, with all of our athletes. Fitness and health is not a one-size-fits-all approach, nor should it be.
